Stade de France, Finals venue for the 2007 RWC
At the heart of the venues
Discover the 12 grounds which will stage the 2007 Rugby World Cup matches.
Certain grounds are considered authentic monuments, whose very name evokes the glorious episodes of rugby and sport in general: the Stade de France, the Parc des Princes, the Stade Velodrome, the Millennium Stadium or Murryfield. Not all of them enjoy such universal aura. But each of the 12 grounds that will welcome the 2007 World Cup has its own history, rich in exploits over the decades.
All of the grounds have been renovated, or in the case of the Stade de France, and the Millennium Stadium built from the bottom up, in the 1990’s, offering the best conditions for comfort and visibility.
